Haha its thundering here. Though I'm not going to the Long Reach graduation, I congradulate them all and wish them well!
In all the irony of this graduation. Long Reach's mascot is Lightning, and its pretty thundery out right now! Hahaha, I do love our mascot because its a non-living thing, while most mascots are like "bears" or "wolves" ours was just a force of nature.
Well. I haven't drawn anything in days, but hopefully I'll draw soon.
Focusing on trying to get my daily schedule written out so I can stop sleeping in till noon and stop staying up will sunrise. I want to get a life.
I am also writing out my Vegan meal plans, and shopping list.
I need to eat better.
Though, I have lost weight. I've lost a total of 20 pounds since the year began. So losing 5 pounds a month aint bad! The first 5 pounds came of when I get sick with swine flu, 5 more pounds melted off during my Hawaii trip to Kawaii-kon, and the last 10 pounds fell off when I made the transition to becoming a Vegan. I'VE BEEN VEGAN FOR 30 DAYS! I've never been happier! I dont miss cheese or eggs at all! The first 2 times I tried I failed because I loved cheese. But for some reason this third time has been a no brainer. I really thought to myself, "Is it natural for humans to drink mother's milk from other animals?" "Is it attractive to eat something that came from a bird's vagina?" "Is it right to consume these things?" After I asked myself those things. It became a no brainer.
Though, my sister and dad have been trying to tempt me. "Want to order pizza, I'll buy it for you?" "Want a custard filled donut?" "Want some truffles dipped in chocolate?"
Even my manager has been trying to tempt me by offering me some fresh baked cookies.
But its been easy to say no. Part of me feels guilty for declining offers, but I know I'd feel way more guilty to consume these things. I'm sticking to my decision, and I hope they will learn to respect it.
Preparing for Otakon 2009, it is exciting.
I painted a hat that will be sold. I had a blank red hat laying around and thought "Well, FMA: Brotherhood might be a big thing, lets paint Ed on it."
Last week I also painted Allelujah and Hallelujah on some old ugly shoes I had.
